When I went to St.Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh, I saw these iconic P, R, and E and got really inspired. I didn’t mean to copy a set of glyphs that already exist; instead, I intended to create my own designed new typeface, St. Giles Serif.
Still perfecting the kerning and some glyphs.
